What does the hiring process look like?

We have a tight knit team where people are excited to start work in the morning because they are such fantastic fits. Because it’s so crucial for us to ensure we scale that great culture, we have a very thorough hiring process.

We partner with Scalability Solutions, a Team Growth Strategist firm to start by narrowing down the pool of candidates to those who have the highest potential for long-term happiness, success, and growth. They review every application holistically, paying special attention to the answers you write in response to the online questions.

Of the hundreds of people who apply, they will invite approximately 20-30 top candidates to a phone call where they share more information about the opportunity, ask questions to get to know you, and answer your questions as well.  

From there, approximately one fifth of those candidates will move forward to a video interview, usually with the hiring manager. We work to make it a fun experience, conversational, insightful, and a two-way vetting process. This means we’ll have a lot of questions for you, but we’ll also proactively provide you with information so that you can make an informed decision about whether this is an opportunity you can be excited about every day.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll select the top 5-7 candidates for the next step, which is a simulation that closely mimics what you would experience on the job, usually facilitated by Scalability Solutions. This is conducted over the phone, internet, and email. It is designed BOTH to help us ensure that you will be set up for success, but also to provide you with further insight into our processes, systems, communication styles, product, issues that might arise, etc. You aren’t doing any actual work for us during the simulation -- it’s all mock scenarios.
